This project was started in the summer of 2013 after we towed this jeep 2300 miles from Pittsburgh Pa. to Coeur D Alene Idaho. It was my wife’s uncles jeep and had 60 plus years of Pittsburgh mud and grease on it. We initially planned on just using it for a mountain buggy but after getting it home and seeing it had restorable potential we decided to strip it down to the frame for a total frame up restoration. Everything on this jeep was rebuilt 100%. The only things that are not original are the tires, wheels, seats and roll bar which we felt it would spruce it up a little bit. Now that this project is finished it is too nice of a machine to take into the mountains and has now become a Sunday driver instead. Our next project is going to be a Willys pickup to go along with the CJ3A. We had planned on entering the calendar contest last year however we missed the deadline and still had some finishing touches to put on it.
