The Dunes in the background are located at Silver Lake State Park, Mears, Michigan. They are located along the eastern shoreline of Lake Michigan. Half the dunes are pedestrian only, the other half (about 500 acres) are for any and all ATVs / 4WD vehicles.
My 1947 CJ-2A (has a CJ-3A windshield) has a (1968) Jeep 225 (3.7L) “oddfire” V6. It has an RV (Comp) cam, 390 Holly four barrel carb, headers, HEI distributor, forged pistons, and is cooled with an aluminum radiator. Drive train includes 5.38 differentials, T14 tranny, T18 transfer case. It’s a good “climber”!!
Was wondering what dunes were in the background and what modifications you made in the engine etc to be able to make it up those dunes?
John
My Willy’s Jeep is a 1947 CJ-2A with a CJ-3A Windshield!! That’s why I couldn’t find it in the
CJ-2A Section!! I have owned it since 1976.
