Completely restored from frame up. All stock except for suspension and air cleaner. Converted to Carter carb and 12 volt. In driving the “Hell’s Revenge” trail in Moab, UT last week, we were all astounded at the integrity and reliability of the original drive train in the ’52 CJ-3A. It took us up and down sheer slopes, rocky ridges and through deep sand at the perfect idle speed; no clutch, no brake needed. Spectators and passers by loved it. Everywhere we drove, people came over to look. If you have a chance to own one, restore one, do it and don’t give up.
