We bought our first 3A a few years ago to use at our vacation home. My wife indulged me with this purchase but soon loved it as much as I do and agreed we should get another one for our home place. It is also a 1951. It was militarized by the prior owner but I plan to complete the restoration in a civilian color – probably Luzon red. We have had tons of fun working to continue restoring both and driving them around town.
I used a Sherwin Williams paint: LM3E 2009-2011 Porsche Cayenne
very nice, very good restoration.
I own a cj3a and I would like to know the color code of the painting.
thanks from Spain.
Great story and nice Jeeps, enjoy.

Not to take away from the many who restore their Jeeps to military styles. I appreciate the color on the classic beauty.
