Brad Patton
Brad,
I’m working on a ’46. How much lift did you add to yours. It looks great. I replaced my shocks and springs but wouild like to add a little lift. Any suggestions?
thanks,
Matt
Jeff – When converting to 12v. Make sure you convert EVERYTHING on the jeep to 12 v. bulbs, gauges, starter, etc… I used the 1 wire alternator. Very easy.
Al – Thanks for the complament. My paint is Desert Gold – Omni Au Mtk 23577 A
Hi Jeff,
Mike Meditz at Kaiser Willys can help you with that – give him a call at 1-888-648-4923 or you can check out the Q&A on the 12 Volt Coversion product page (scroll down to the bottom to see questions and answers). Please let me know if this helps! The link is below:

I am in the process of restoring a 1950 as well. Mine is in good shape but wanted to start by converting to 12 volt with new wiring. What items are needed to complete the 12 volt conversion?
Thanks
I love the color of your CJ-3A. I’m in the process of restoring a 1953 CJ-3A and have been looking for the right color yellow. Will you share the color and or paint code used on your jeep.
