Thank you for the awesome catalog. Here are photos of my 1947 CJ-2A. I have owned it for 21 years (4th owner). Growing up on a farm in Sasktachewan, Canada, a neighbor 3 miles away owned it. He drove it around his farm and up the muddy roads when no other vehicle could travel them, don’t think he even drove it to church on Sundays. I bought the Jeep in 1992 for $500.00, it had been stored in a shed (not a barn) for years. It had 24,000 miles, the body had no rust but the valves were seized. My son and I rebuilt the engine plus new values and guides. The body is the only thing that needs some minor work and a paint job.
In 2000, we moved to British Columbia, Canada, where I drive it around mountain roads and into the city. Whenever I drive it people are always giving me the thumbs up, even follow me home to stop and talk Jeeps. I have met a lot of people when driving it. My son anxiously awaits the day when I no longer want it, so he can have it. Hope he is not in any hurry.

Hello Doug;
My name is Loren Nesvold. I live in Texas, but am from northern Minnesota. (moving back in a year and a half)
This summer I bought a 1947 Willys. It needs some work. It still drives and everything works.
What I am writing for is to ask if you would send me some pictures of your jeep so I can make sure everything is right on mine. I am having a time finding the right pictures. Is there tricks I should know about the jeep?
Thank You for your time.
