This is a 1947 Jeep CJ-2A that was built as a industrial fire truck by Boyer Mfg. There were 50 of these made and this unit was purchased by Osborn Brush Co. in Cleveland as a industrial fire truck due to no fire sprinklers in the plant. In 1987 it was purchased by a friend who purchased the Company and it was shipped to Milwaukee with 450 miles on the truck. I purchased the truck in 2012 and restored it. The truck now has 850 miles and the pictures speak for themselves!

Trying to reach Dick Nelson. I have a 1947 cj2a fire Jeep I’m restoring. Wondered if he could advise me where to locate some specific parts.
Thank you. Dan A.
Hello, a friend of mine had one of these that we used to “muster” with. His name was Dan Patterson. He was killed in the late 90s in an accident testing big rig tires. I don’t know if his widow still has it or not.. but the Jeep was in Auburn Ca for many years.
