This Jeep 1947 CJ-2A is local to the Davenport/Harrington WA area. A local guy owned it and had many family memories in it. Then it was sold to a jeweler in Spokane, the wife wanted to turn the body of it into a planter/yard art, my father in turn bought it for my mom. She did not like the charcoal gray color it was painted so she took a piece of fabric into the Hotrod paint shop and asked to match the color and they did. After paint, some restoration, project completed. My mom loved driving this Jeep everywhere in the Post falls and Coeur D’Alene Idaho area, my daughter and myself loved cruzin’ around in it, max speed 40, downhill 45. My mom has since passed away and the Jeep has become mine. I live in the Reardan, WA area and I get so many comments “Can’t miss you coming”, “That is the cutest little ride”. We also have a Abby family dog. I can’t pull it out of the shed and she is in it getting ready for a ride. This Jeep will stay in the family, my daughter has laid claim on it next.
