Build Your Willys: Cooling Parts Removal
First, drain your radiator of all fluids. Then, loosen the upper radiator hose clamps and remove the hose from the thermostat housing and radiator. Then, loosen and remove the lower radiator clamps and hose from the water pump and radiator. Next, remove the bolts attaching the water pump to the engine. Tilt the radiator carefully if needed and lift the water pump and fan assembly away from the engine. Finally, remove the bolts attaching the radiator to the front crossmember and remove the radiator and shroud assembly.
