This is my 1947 Willys CJ-2A that I’ve had for about 4 years. It was last licensed in 1988. I used a lot of Kaiser Willys parts to get it going again. We still wheel it and show it. It has an F head, 12v, disc brakes in front, Ford 1100 carb, locker in the front, Hei distributor, dual master with remote tanks, Hot tub stereo, and much more. My grandfather built it around 1975 for running in the rivers. I remember riding on the roll bar, tapping him on the shoulders telling him which way to turn since he was under the water. I’ve always loved Jeeps and have owned 6. The wagon is all stock and I traded a walk in freezer to the same grandfather 12 years ago to acquire it. The Wagon had been sitting and waiting for me since the first time I saw it when I was 13. I purchased the 47 CJ-2A three years after his passing and have enjoyed every day with it.

I’m curious on 2 things, how did your Gramps breath and do you have to modify other engine components to be able to drive under water? Great story, hope to post mine in the future, Jon
