My name is Andreas Gronemann and I found this Willys Truck in a nearby village on a ranch in South Dakota. It is a 1948 and the Truck was restored from the frame up, modified to 12V and with dual brake system and the engine was upgraded to a 1950’s Super Hurricane. I found a fishing boat of about that era and it was restored and painted to match the truck. Attached are some pictures of how the truck looked like when I found and bought it.

Nice Job. Looks really nice with the matching boat. Excellent idea to match them.
Great job done on the restoration! I like the boat as well. Still busy with my CJ5.
That is a good looking truck. It looks really cold on the Pactola Lake Dam the day that last picture was taken.

I have a 1947 that is originally of the green color. Your red one looks like a new one compared to what I will be facing I will have tp have my grandson and his boy to back me up I don’t think I have enough time left, I think my biggest problem is finding the dashboard, and gauges. The rest is all sheet metal that will have to be fabricated I do have some glass will have to get it out to see what I need before I start to see if I can get it.
