Moving to Colorado was the reason I became Jeep crazed. Once the snow melted and I had no more mountains to board and a couple months to pass before the next season I began exploring the mountains in my Jeep. Quickly, I realized that I was going to need to make some modifications if I was to keep exploring the more technical routes that Colorado has to offer. I went with a budget 3″ Rough Country Lift Kit and some nice 31 inch BFG tires. The very next day I set out for Mosquito Pass (one of the highest “highways” in Colorado). Wow, what a day! It was the happiest and most scared I have been behind the wheel of a car. One broken rear leaf spring later I made it safely off the pass with some great memories and many more ideas to make that Jeep even tougher. Although I’ve missed snowboarding, the adventures I’ve had with that Jeep this summer made the time fly; not to mention I feel like a total BA every time I drive her down Main Street!
I miss you Dana ,
